Overview of the role:

Your role will be to manage several online communities in both Cantonese and English that we run on behalf of major global brands using our in-house software.

It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth day to day running of the community, design engagement activities to keep members participating and act as one of the main points of contact between the agency and our clients.

We are looking for somebody who is organised and has excellent communication skills, demonstrable through your experience. You will ideally have had at least 1 years’ experience in social media management, copywriting, or similar role. This role may also be of interest to recent graduates who can demonstrate the right skills, attitude and some experience.

Creative thinking is an absolute must for this role, and you will often be tasked with coming up with new and engaging ideas. If you are selected for interview, you will be asked to evidence your writing skills.

Your focus and responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of a branded community and its members, providing customer service support in within strict turnaround times
  • Manage the recruitment process for bringing new members on to the communities
  • Design and plan engagement activities for the community, writing copy to the high standards set by our clients
  • Moderation of discussion rooms and forums
  • Providing reports and analysis to our clients about community engagement and helping clients to work with our software
  • Managing the rewards and incentive schemes pertaining to your communities
  • Assisting others in the community management team where necessary

Your skills and attributes:


  • Fluent speaker of traditional and simplified Cantonese
  • English speaker to CEFR level C2
  • Ability to write creatively and have a meticulous attention to detail
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and organise your own workload under your own initiative
  • Be technically minded and pick up new software quickly


  • Experience working with online communities, or social media
  • Experience working in market research
  • Basic working knowledge of HTML
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Awareness and understanding of current data protection laws (GDPR)
  • French Language skills
